Oral Presentation
- Participants have to submit their presentation material(s) on the website before November 30th, 2025, GMT+7.
- Presentation File Format: PowerPoint Presentation (.ppt or .pptx)
- Session Assignment: Presentation sessions will be assigned by track. Time and presentation sequence will be sent to your registered email. Please prepare yourself about 30 minutes before your session begins.
- Onsite Presentation: Presenters can check their presentation files 45-60 minutes before the session begins.
- Presentation Time: 10 minutes total (7 minutes for presentation, 3 minutes for questions and answers)
- Warning sound: 2 times (at the 5th and 7th minutes)
- Computer and LCD projector will be available for onsite presenters.
- Online Presentation: Attending online preparation workshops and ensuring the readiness of your online devices are compulsory. The detailed schedule will be announced later on the official Facebook page, website, and via your registered email.
- Final Presentation: This round determines the best overall oral scientific presentation. The winner of each track will qualify to participate in the final presentation. In this round, a recording of your presentation will be played before the questions and answers session begins for 1-2 minutes.
Final Round Competition
For the oral presentation competition, the winner of each track (Basic science, Community-based, Hospital-based, Medical education and Systematic review and meta-analysis) will be qualified to participate in the final round competition. The winner of the competition is awarded Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Trophy.
Eligibility Criteria for IMRC Presenters
To ensure a high standard of academic and research quality, presenters must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Undergraduate Medical Student Status
The presenter must be a current undergraduate medical student enrolled in an accredited medical school program at the time of the submission and presentation.
Recent Graduate Eligibility
Recent medical school graduates (graduated within the past 12 months) are eligible to present, provided that the research was conducted during their undergraduate studies.
Significant Contribution to the Research
The presenter must have had a substantial and meaningful role in the research project. This includes, but is not limited to, contributing to the study design, data collection, data analysis, or writing and reviewing.
Original Research Requirement
The presented work must be an original research project conducted by the medical student(s) during their undergraduate training. Collaborative research projects are permitted, but the presenter must be able to demonstrate their individual role and contributions within the team.
One presenter for research topic
Each research topic may have only one presenter for the competition. The registered presenter is solely responsible for delivering the presentation and answering questions during the session. Co-authors will not be allowed to present or participate in the Q&A session but will be acknowledged in the Certificate of Achievement.
